Episode 38: Members Only: Too Much Mou For Bayer To Go Through
Dear Supporters and Ultras,
last night Leverkusen just couldn't overcome "Mou-Ball" in the second leg of their Euroleague semi-finals vs. AS Roma. Raphael was at the BayArena to witness Xabi Alonso's side take 23 shots on goal and strike the bar once. In the end, Roma made use of every trick in the book to hold on, like delaying the game with fake injuries and interrupting the flow of the game at every chance. In English we say "shithousing". Well, winning ugly is still winning, so congratulations to Roma who will meet Spanish side FC Sevilla in the finals, who seem to have a finals subscription for the Euroleague and know a thing or two about winning ugly themselves.
