Dear Subscribers and Ultras,

this one’s for you!

We take an exclusive look back at the last round of group play in this year’s Champions League campaign. Marking the last time the Champions League will have played in its current mode. And probably also marking the last time we’ve seen Union take part in Europe’s top club competition. They finished last in their group but at least they didn’t embarass themselves in the process.

BVB Dortmund hat quite the opposite experience, coming through as winners of the only truly competitive group, leaving PSG and Milan in their wake with Newcastle United finding themselves at the bottom of this group of death.

Bayern München didn’t face too much competition from their opponents from Kopenhagen, Istanbul and Manchester respectively, with United dropping the ball and finishing last. How is Erik Ten Hag still employed?

RB Leipzig saw club legend Emil Forsberg score one last time before his impending transfer to the New York Red Bulls as they defeated Young Boys Bern. They finished second behind Manchester City in one of the least competitive groups with Red Star Belgrade and Young Boys combining for 5 points overall.
