Well, at least of the Under 17s, as Germany won against France in Indonesia on Saturday. In other international news, the groups for the coming European Championships in Germany were drawn and it really could’ve been much worse for Nagelsmann’s squad who will face Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland in a group that they should really come through. Well, we’ve heard that before the World Cups in 2018 and 2022 and look how that went…
But back to national competition, back to the Bundesliga, where heavy snowfall in southern Germany lead to the match between Bayern and Union being postponed. In Sunday’s highlight game, Leverkusen could only muster a draw against BVB who played very defensively.
Good news for Christoph: Bochum won and has moved up to twelfth place!
Stuttgart look like they’re gonna stay near the top of the table for the time being and 1. FC Köln got a win in the basement.
