Episode 5: Doom & Gloom

We sent Raphael to Qatar to check out what's what at the World Cup, while Christoph has to get his insights from German TV. But no matter where you got to see Germany's loss in their opener against Japan, one thing was clear: this was not a game Germany should've lost. So, what happened? Let's start with the positives: Left Back David Raum aka Raumberto Carlos played a pivotal role in securing Germany's dominance and first goal in the first half, by playing essentially as a Winger. But things derailed in the second half, when Gündogan was taken off. Still, no matter how you look at it, those two goals for Japan should never have happened. Listen to Raphael and Christoph's frustration and analysis for more on how Germany's World Cup trip is almost over before it really began!

We can always beat Spain, right?
