Episode 27: Members Only: 50+1 Rule

Dear Listeners, dear Supporters and Ultras,

in this special edition of Beer & Honey, FC St. Pauli CEO Oke Goettlich tries to explain the German rule called "50+1", which keeps investors from seizing control over German football clubs, which are member led entitites. It means that 50% of the votes plus one vote must stay with the clubs and their democratically elected officials.
Raphael and Christoph question Oke on his position regarding this rule and what it means for German clubs that need to generate investments in order to keep up with the likes of PSG or Man City.
