New Web Development. Or, why Copilots and chatbots are particularly bad for modern web dev (Preview)

Web development is on the verge of a paradigm shift. The term paradigm has been overused and turned into a word salad cliche by executives and consultants, but the fundamental idea is still useful.

The important consequence of switching to a new a new paradigm—mental model—is that many formerly intractable problems suddenly become solvable. A new way of looking at them enables new solutions that would have been impossible to predict or conceive of in the older worldview.
