Have you joined your CREATRIX Crews (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenรชtre) - yet? If not, why not? Itโs still free, and itโs an awesome thing to have a support system in place as we move through whatever this year might present us with. ๐
A CREATRIX Crew (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenรชtre) consists of eight people who are ready to support each other on their ascension journey, or self-actualization journey, or their journey through life, by backing up each otherโs intentions and supporting each other in practical & spiritual ways - when it comes to business, health or life in general.
And so we can get to know each other better, without it taking up too much time and space, I post a prompt each week - which the current crew leader posts in their CREATRIX Crew (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenรชtre) messenger group, for all crew members to answer.
The prompt for this week is: โWhen did you last sing to yourself or for someone else?โ

My dear friend,
How are you today? Next week we are going to start a new chapter in the CREATRIX School, so I've spent a good part of my week preparing for that.
And itโs exciting as we will look at food, what we eat, when and why, and explore how our relationship with food is linked to our relationship to love and care.
We will also see what is necessary to create a sacred kitchen, mindful eating habits, which spices and herbs can help us heal, and which tools are more beneficial than others in the kitchen and so on. So it will be mind-blowing and practical. :)
Hereโs a little excerpt:
The complicated relationship most of us have with food comes from a complicated relationship with nourishment and care, and because of this, this is where we will start our exploration.
Like we do with each topic in the CREATRIX School (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenรชtre), we will start this first week by having a look at our current eating habits and routines and what we like and donโt like about them, and then we will begin to think about what we would like to create instead.
To create lasting change requires looking at ourselves and the stories we tell ourselves about food and about our eating habits, though, which often originated at a time that we donโt even remember.
If you donโt feel completely happy about your eating habits yet, thereโs a reason for it.
And the problem isnโt you.
The biggest problem is that we were raised to doubt ourselves. The biggest problem is that we were raised to rush, to overwork, and we werenโt taught the value of taking time to create healthy meals, to trust our bodies to guide us and tell us what we need, or to know how to use spices and legumes and vegetables to keep us healthy and happy.
But whatever we donโt know yet, we can learn now. Whatever wounds were created in the past, we can heal now.
Because to create a sacred kitchen, to make eating a sacred event again, and to change our food stories, will help us to be confident in the kitchen and loving towards ourselves and all others.
So, today, we will look at why this is so important.
In her wonderful book, Mother Hunger, Kelly Mc Daniel writes:
โWhen a baby is hungry or lonely, she cries. While crying, she experiences a rapid increase in heartbeat and release of adrenaline. Adrenaline, or epinephrine, helps start natureโs fight-or-flight response. In adults, this looks like driving to a restaurant, foraging in the refrigerator, or calling a friend to talk.โ
More often than not, we try to soothe ourselves with food, we use food to compensate for the difficulties we experience in life or the pains we feel because that connection has been there from the first days of our lives.
But we can equally use food to punish ourselves, if we think that we donโt deserve a well-balanced meal, prepared with love, because we are not loveable and worthy of that or used to being treated like the immensely valuable, beautiful and important person we are.
Like the crying baby, deep down we equate food with love.
Our body releases adrenaline when we are stressed, and it releases serotonin when we eat and nourish ourselves. So if we donโt know how to love and soothe ourselves, it feels like we need food to do that for us.
Which is why it is so essential to bring this to our awareness, if we want to change the way we eat and our relationship to food.
Because then we can make eating a pleasurable event and food our medicine that helps us to strengthen our body, that delights our soul and that eases our mind.
To quote Kelly McDaniel again:
โWhen we are helpless infants, hunger pains drive us toward our mother. She is our relief. Completely dependent on her care, we โtalkโ to her with our whole bodyโwe squirm or whimper or cry. This is natureโs way of bringing Mom close. When she responds with milk and warmth, all is well. Milk and mother bring pleasure, and we learn that a full belly, our motherโs touch, her voice, and her smell are the same. This is how human connection gets associated with pleasure so that we want more of it. Hunger and bonding are inextricably biologically linked.โ
But often our realities and experiences were different.
Our mothers were underresourced, impatient or insecure and not always there to give us the physical and mental nourishment that we would have needed. And so our expectations around food and, possibly, what we deserve or donโt deserve changed accordingly.
Again, this is no oneโs fault. Our parents couldnโt give us what they didnโt have. And they still gave us enough so that we are able to break this circle now, something that they werenโt able to do.
And we will explore how to do that in this chapter, in every way.
We will look at the tools we use, we will look at herbs and how to use them, we will look at portion sizes, how often to eat, what to eat and how and how to start creating a really loving and joyful connection to our food.
Because food is not just a substitute for love and human connection, it can also be love in action.
- so if this feels like something you might enjoy exploring more for yourself - join us, we start with the new moon on February 28th!

And Iโve also been working on the Archetypes Oracle Cards Deck and finished another section, the practical Archetypes, which means Iโm done with almost 2/3rds of the deck, which is very exciting. ๐ฆ๐ธโจ

You can see all the finished cards here (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenรชtre).
And so, as always, I send you my love and wish you a wonderful week.

How can we nourish our body, mind and soul with food? How can we use our senses to get in touch with ourselves?
In this chapter of the CREATRIX School (or 4-week course), we will explore how we can change our relationship to food and nourishment and fill it with love and affection and how we can turn our kitchen into a space of conscious creation and unconditional love.
Individual courses are โฌ35 each.
Membership options providing you with access to all 13 courses/chapters start at โฌ15/month.

This is going to be exciting! We will look at our food stories, and how care and nourishment and food are connected, we will see what we need to have a healthy diet โ and mindset, and how to create a sacred and mindful kitchen.
And, in this lesson, we look at all of these topics a little bit, to become more familiar with these topics and to be able to set our goals for this chapter well.

In this lesson, we explore how our past influences our present.
We will look at our relationship to food growing up and how this still shows in our present, and then we will look at what that tells us about how we deal with our emotions now.
Do we try to use food to emotionally regulate? Because bringing awareness to this, is the first step to creating healthier eating patterns.

The Colour Rose โ Sensing, individuality & Honesty
Our senses help us find our way in life, our eye-sight shows us the world around us, we can hear what other people have to say, or the birds sing, we can talk and express ourselves, feel, smell, taste, and we can also use our psychic abilities to know what is going on in the formless world โ and then we can honestly communicate our unique perspective and perception.
Our senses help us to know and understand the world around us, and can warn us of dangers or guide us in the right direction โ and back to ourselves.
And whatโs a better way to explore our senses than with food?
