• On 22 June Redhill will host a local heat of Young Market Trader of the Year 2024.  Run by the National Market Traders Federation, the national competition is for traders aged 16-30.  It’s free to enter, and entrants will get a pitch, a gazebo and insurance for the day.  Places are limited - application details from the borough council here (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre).

Plans to lengthen the windows at the former HSBC at 18 High Street, Reigate, to make the building more suitable for retailers, were refused this week by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council.
