Opportunity Spotlight: Summer Studios at V&A South Kensington

Drop into the V&A’s Summer Studios (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre) for a series of free creative workshops with Tyreis Holder.  (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre) For the next 5 Tuesdays, the artist, poet, visual storyteller and community arts practitioner is inviting aspiring and emerging creatives to expand their creative skill sets and meet like minded people.

The workshops include Aromatherapy Textile pouch making (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre), Block Printing, Textile Flag Making (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre) and Carnival Headdress & Jewellery Making (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre). 

Holder creates installations, textiles, performance, poetry, sculpture and sound. Her practice explores self and identity politics, relationships of the mind in generational & ancestral healing, spirituality, and navigating colonial spaces.
